About Omeprazole 20 mg Delayed-Release Tablets
Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes. Taken once a day for 14 days, it treats frequent heartburn – heartburn that happens on 2 or more days a week.
This pack contains three 14-day courses. It is not intended for immediate relief of heartburn; it may take 1 to 4 days for full effect.
How to use
Adults 18 years and over: take 1 tablet a day with a glass of water before eating in the morning, every day for 14 days. Swallow whole – do not crush or chew. Do not take more than 1 tablet a day or use for more than 14 days unless directed by a doctor. You may repeat a 14-day course every 4 months.

Possible side effects
- Headache
- Diarrhea, nausea or stomach pain
- Ask a doctor before use if you have had heartburn for over 3 months, or heartburn with lightheadedness, sweating or dizziness
