About Furosemide 40 mg Tablets
Furosemide is a strong diuretic, or water pill. It helps your body get rid of extra fluid, which reduces swelling (edema) caused by heart failure, liver disease or kidney disease, and it is also used to treat high blood pressure.

How to use
Take exactly as prescribed, usually in the morning so you don’t need to get up to urinate at night. Your doctor may check your blood regularly for salt and potassium levels.
